3D_Produkte_en

Warp knitted 3D structures have two external surfaces that can be designed freely. The two outer layers are connected and at the same time kept apart by spacer threads from a variety of materials. The result are complex textile structures that are characterised by flexibility on the one hand and structural stability on the other.

Weft insertion - accurate and flexible.

Elongation, force intake and stability in all three dimensions can be defined with great flexibility both by structural features and by material selection. Especially developed machines are able to produce 3D biaxle warp knitted structures. This results in highly sophisticated textile structures for individual applications in high-end compound materials boasting enormous carrying capacity and very low self weight.

to make it short:
  • free design of the textile overlay
  • different materials in all 3 dimensions
  • absorption of traction at 0° and 90°
  • variable interstice
  • varying density of the polar fibres allowing definable stiftness in the 3rd dimension
